In this course, we look at a variety of book making techniques to create original works of art combined with mixed media processes. We will utilize drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques to express student interest. There is an emphasis on student creative planning and studio thinking. In this class students will discover the creepiest and crawliest nature offers. Ants? Beetles? Butterflies? Spiders? From bugs to arachnids, if it creeps then we will create it. We will experiment with clay, paint, oil pastels, paper collage and more to create art that is inspired by the creatures that we learn about. All material will be provided. Instructor: TBA

Join us for an artful trip to the continent of South America! From the alpacas of the Andes to the cave art of Argentina our students will create works of art in clay, paint, oil pastel and much more! For Grades K-5. All materials are included. Instructor: TBA
