Fall 2024: Home School

In this two-dimensional course, learners will engage in honing their drawing abilities, encompassing techniques such as perspective drawing, portraiture, and still life representation. Emphasis will be placed on achieving spatial depth in their artwork. Participants have the opportunity to accrue up to 60 hours (equivalent to 0.5 credit) of instructional time, contributing towards their high school fine arts requirement. The course offers 45 hours of face-to-face instructional time (3 hours a week for 15 weeks) and 15 hours of structured home work assignments (1 hour a week for 15 weeks). A certificate of completion is provided for the completed hours. All materials included. Cost $350 one-time payment or 4 installments of $100. In this course, students will create 3d forms with a variety of materials. Each project will utilize different techniques and materials, including clay, cardboard, paper mache', and recycled materials. Students can earn up to 60 hours (0.5 credit) of instructional time to meet part of their high school fine arts credit.
