In this creative journey, students are invited to explore the colorful and vibrant universe that Carle's iconic illustrations have brought to life in beloved children's books like "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" With every snip of paper and dab of paint, they emulate his distinctive style, using bold, textured patterns and playful combinations of shapes and colors to craft their own tales of wonder and discovery. This art class celebrates the boundless imagination of Eric Carle, encouraging young artists to let their creativity unfurl like the pages of a beloved storybook. All materials are provided. Together we will craft mini-themed cars with the magic of foam and cardboard, turning our visions into mobile masterpieces. On the last day, we will roll out our creations in a spectacular mini-art car parade, showcasing our unique designs! Join the ride where local history meets imagination, and let's make art on wheels!
