Summer 2025: Artism: Art for Students on the Autism Spectrum
Students will create works of art inspired by the food we eat. We will gather inspiration from a variety of culinary dishes from different cultures, look at historical artwork inspired by food, and learn about art movements depicting all things tasty. We will make works of art in foam clay, drawing, painting and more!
Please Note: We will not be cooking or eating for these projects.
While our teaching staff is dedicated to education and inclusivity, it is important to note that most of our instructors are college students training to become art educators and do not have formal training in working with students with autism.
We kindly ask that an adult is in attendance with the student for the duration of the class.
