EXPLORE STEM (Virtual) Events - KidsU Summer Camps 2025
This is an introductory level STEM camp. Basic computer literacy required. The camp will begin with an introduction to Digital Design and Art then progress to Animation. The camp will also focus on story telling and character creation in the context of game development. Similar camps have been offered in the past and the scaffolded approach to design, art, animation, and game development allows students with an array of skill levels to be successful. The camp will be delivered virtually using Zoom.

This is an introductory level STEM camp. Basic computer literacy required. The camp will begin with an introduction to music and sound effects then progress to creating music and sound effects for video games. For those that took the art and animation camp they can use the characters and scenes they developed as the inspiration for their music and sound effects they create. Similar camps have been offered in the past and the scaffolded approach to robotics allows students with an array of skill levels to be successful. The camp will be delivered virtually using Zoom.

This is an introductory level STEM camp. Basic computer literacy required. The camp will begin with an introduction to coding structures then progress to game development. Students that took either of the previous camps will be able to use their game art, animations, and sounds to enhance their game development process. Similar camps have been offered in the past and the scaffolded approach to coding and game development allows students with an array of skill levels to be successful. The camp will be delivered virtually using Zoom.
