Campers will read current and engaging children's literature and delve into the art that brings these books to life. They will also have the chance to experience these artforms for themselves. Each day campers will explore a different book and art form, exploring their creativity through literacy.

You will choose your characters, design your board, and create obstacles and other fun activities according to what happens in your favorite book! Campers will design their own science fiction or dystopian characters and stories by learning about the science behind an element of their choosing. Campers will learn how to research questions they have about science and to think critically about the use of science within their stories.

Learn how to notice things around you and develop your creative, descriptive vocabularies, jot down your memories and observations, and use those notes to write your own book. Campers will read about their favorite athletes, coaches, and sports. As they are reading, each camper will choose something in sports they are passionate about - whether a specific game, athlete, skill, or coach - and write about their sports passion. These pieces will be produced in a format that campers are equally as passionate about -from podcasts to feature articles - they will each be a part of the sports desk.
