Students will explore a variety of painting media (acrylic, watercolor, and gauche) with an emphasis in developing technique. Guided exercises are used to improve student understanding of color theory, color mixing, and blending. Portrait, landscape, and design projects are created throughout the course. All materials provided. This class runs Tuesday to Friday. The UHCL campus is closed Monday June 19 in observance of Emancipation Day. For grades 5th to 8th.
