Birding Camp

Birding Camp is a great opportunity for hands-on activity during the Thanksgiving break. Campers will learn how to use binoculars and field guides and go on bird watching hikes. Bird identification, habitat requirements, techniques, tips, and places to go birdwatching will be covered. We will visit two local state parks to see birds not usually found on the UHCL campus. All campers will receive a field guide. Binoculars will be provided. Open to children aged 7 - 13. This camp is funded by TPWD CO-OP Grant.

To register, create an account and add your child/children as an additional registrant(s). Participants will need to fill out a Release Form before the start of the camp. Any individual requiring an accommodation in order to participate in this event will need to contact EIH at least two weeks prior to the event.
